By clicking
here or on the pictures above, you will see a collection of photographs taken during ICSV22 Congress in Florence, 12-16 July 2015.

The photographs show only certain moments during the congress. The photos were collected from several different participants. You will find quite a number of “unofficial” and spontaneous photos.

It was not possible to take photos at all of the scientific sessions and follow every moment of such a great congress, so we are happy if you'll find a photo of yourself and we're sorry if you're not there (maybe next time)!

This collection is available on Flickr for all participants at ICSV22 in Florence for free and does not expire. We will add more photos and videos in future as we receive them!

Dear Colleagues

The International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV) and the Acoustical Society of Italy (AIA) are pleased to invite scientists and engineers from all over the world to attend the 22nd International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV22) which will be held in Florence, Italy, from 12 to 16 July 2015. This Congress, organized by IIAV and AIA in cooperation with IMAMOTER - National Research Council of Italy and DIEF - University of Florence, is a world’s leading event in the area of acoustics and vibration and an important opportunity for scientists and engineers to share their latest research results and exchange ideas on theories, technologies and applications in these fields.

The Congress will feature a broad range of high-level technical papers from all over the world, with the possibility of full paper review. Seven Distinguished Plenary Lectures will present recent developments in hot topics of sound and vibration and thoughts about future trends. Meanwhile, an extensive Exhibition of sound and vibration measurement instrumentation, equipment and noise and vibration control technologies will be featured.

The magnificent city of Florence is a Renaissance city situated in the heart of Tuscany. Florence is famous for its history, culture, Renaissance art, architecture and monuments. Florence has many impressive sights and attractions. Among the top attractions for ICSV22 delegates and their accompanying persons are the Piazza della Signoria, the monumental city hall Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo square with the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery and the Giotto Tower. The Ponte Vecchio, built in 1345, is the only surviving medieval bridge across the Arno River. The Accademia gallery holds many important paintings and sculptures and Michelangelo's David, which is probably the most famous sculpture in the world.

The Congress Venue, Firenze Fiera Congress & Exhibition Center, is an exclusive area with spacious green areas, located in the heart of the city, only five minutes on foot from the central railways station of Santa Maria Novella and 1 km from the Cathedral. “Villa Vittoria” which hosts the “Palazzo dei Congressi” where ICSV22 technical sessions will be held, is a jewel of the 19th century architecture. In this three-floor building the rooms with antique Florentine furniture are fused with others of modern, functional design.

We all, the full Conference organization staff of ICSV22 Congress, are doing our very best to set up the conditions for your most comfortable and fruitful stay in Florence but, dear colleagues, the expected success of our Congress is mainly due to your scientific contributions and your active and warm participation.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Florence.
